Default How to apply linseed oil to cues?

Right so ive sanded down my cue and now got some raw linseed oil. How do i need to apply it? Do i apply thin layers on a cloth and wait until each layer is dry? How many layers do i need to put on? also, could i do it now and then play with the cue in about 2 hours time? -- This message may have been cut off and the rest will only be shown to members.
