The longest single sequence of Foul and a Miss calls at the Crucible is a sequence of eleven (4 penalty points each) against Nigel Bond in the fifteenth frame of his 1999 first-round match against Dominic Dale. (See also ‘Highest individual and aggregate frame score’: http://www.thesnookerforum.com/showthread-t_1219.html.)
Two players have forfeited a frame at the Crucible under the three Foul and a Miss calls rule: Ken Doherty in the twelfth frame of his 1996 second-round match against Darren Morgan, and John Parrott in the eleventh frame of his 1997 second-round match against Anthony Hamilton.
(In the final qualifying round of the 2002 World Championship at the Newport Centre, south Wales, Paul Wykes forfeited the sixth frame of his match against Dominic Dale after three Foul and a Miss calls, before a ball had been potted. Dale thus won the frame with a score of 12–0.)
