I was just wondering how many of you have read Ronnie O'Sullivan's autobiography?

I have. He was a tad young for such a thing but typically for Ronnie he wears his heart on his sleeve throughout so it is an endearing account.

My favourite bit was where he admitted to copying the way Ken Doherty opens his mouth on the shot :)

Yeah... haha :)

... and then complaining about this copycat thing made him play like **** :D

I think the part about him acting stupid as a kid was also pretty funny... This thing about the yoghurt spoon... :)

I got a second hand copy off an amazon seller for a penny, but it is a good book and worth the retail price.

Currently amazon UK has a second hand copy going for 45p and will deliver to India for a reasonable price. Worth it if you're a rocket fan, really.

Never heard of 'inside the frames' though, sorry.

Try ebay sometimes. i got Ronnie's, Jimmy's and alex higgins autobiographies each for less than 2 pounds. and in good condition.

I liked the part when he was so fed up with Ken knocking in those high breaks and had to find an excuse so that Ken would leave... Ron kept practising & Ken came back coz he 4got something... It must have been so embarrassing to Ron :D

Doesn't he insult Mark Williams or something? I haven't read it but would like too, because I am a Ronnie fan, about how old was he when he wrote it?

Imo he never insulted any of the players he mentioned in his book, tho , apparently many think he did.
I've read the book more than once, i liked the straight and honest way he talked about both ,the good and the bad parts of his life.

To answer your question...as far as i know the book was first published in UK in 2003. So, my guess, ...it was written sometime in 2001(after the Worlds) - 2002 ( so he was 26-27 years old).

Thanks Ellena. I didn't think he would insult anyone, it's just I heard a rumour that he did.

as i recall he was not too complimentary about either mark williams or especially stephen lee but really in truth he is entitled to his opinions.
