Whats wrong with parris cues these days, it looks like a fake cue to me. The wood grain is crap for several hundred quids. Looks like crappy chinese cues from a school boy factory earning a quid an hour to me. If no one said its a parris cue to me i thought its a 30 quid cue

Doesn't look all that bad if you ask me. And if you know what you're looking for, you can usually tell whether it's fake or not.

The guy's clearly chuffed with his cue so can't you save the Parris bashing for the myriad of other threads out there. Remember what your Ma told you, if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all :D

cue looks ok to me - hard to sell it with that badge if you don't like it though!

That cue is most definitely a JP cue.

It also looks very nice to me and I'm looking at it with very very trained eyes.

I'll admit it's not entirely easy to see the whole cue, but all in all, it looks just great.

First thing I'll do with the £3000 cue I order from Trevor when I win the pools is have my name on it not his. As the owner I'd know who made it, probably get Trevor more buisness from the queries it'd raise and sod it's resale value I wouldn't dream of selling it.

Gold instead of brass, Ebony from some African Kings throne, Some intricate inlays perhaps. No precious stones though it'd look too much like a pool cue.:D

Nice cue! But the problem with parris cues is that they take ages to make a cue and after all the waiting u may find the quality not of the highest standard as their quality is not as consistent as it used to be.

nice cue, i think it was definitely a geniune parris cue, but Mr Huang was so creative to carve hime big name on the plate, how much you pay for that?

I firstly asked JP to put my name on the side of the butt but they said they will only replace the word "Champion". That is quite expensive, 15 pounds.
