2pc Cue Case.......Help!

I am looking to get a case for my 2pc cue as currently i only have a leather........well kind of case that just slips over the cue. It isn't solid, it just acts as a kind of sock for the cue. I am sure this isn't the best thing to protect my cue, mostly my tip as if the top is banged, the material won't protect the cue as much as a solid case.

What type of things should i look for in the case to make sure my cue stays protected? I assumed a hard outside would be enough until i looked on a website to find a whole range of different cases and very varied prices.

Sportsworld are (were?) flogging off their small range of cue sports gear, failing that, I got a ally one off ebay for a great price - depends on your budget really... you can get a 2 piece case for a fiver, vinyl covered box - that would protect a cue for years, but not look too good !
