Does anyone know anything about ticket availability for this. WorldSnooker.com announced that it would be at Sheffield City Hall on 6th October but as yet there's no mention of it on the city hall web site and the girl who answered my phone did even know it was meant to be on there. At the moment Jimmy Carr is on there on the night of the 6th!

So if anyone knows anything could they let me know - or even Sheffield City Hall!

It should be Williams, Higgins, Dott, Murphy, O'Sullivan, Ebdon, Doherty and Robertson as they are the top 7 plus the defending champion so no Hendry.

Of course. It makes more sense that they would ensure no Asians play. Worldsnooker surely has no interest in Asian players. That must be why they are holding two ranking tournaments in Asia.

OK so I finally got some sense out of Sheffield City Hall. They are not dealing with the ticketing for the event as they believe it is invitation only. Anyone got any idea how to get an invite?????

hmm well i would love 2 go watch the pot black.. its great enjoyment watching it on bbc and its a nice refreshing change from the full blooded snooker which we normally see. Sadly on the ticket situation i dnt think many of us will be able to get hold of them as the toffs usually snap them up at ridiculous prices! Our only hope is if someone is running some sort of competition like we had during the world champs!

I didn't tell you they were sold out:p they just didn't reply to my email. So i emailed them again and whaddaya know! it worked:D
cos they bumped the news about pot black on worldsnooker. i think they have a bit of struggle selling it out, prolly because it's in sheffield now.
and the price is too ridiculous to mention:D
