lol....Craig,
I agree totally, although if it did come to a sale, maybe all members could chip in, then it would belong to all of us, so to speak, which I think it does anyway....hehehehe.....:D

I believe the ownership of TSF changed hands just a few months ago.
Curtis handed it over to someone else whose name i cannot remember, as they have been keeping a low profile. ;)

Hi Blondie,
The new owner's/sponsers (is that the same thing ?) "representative" uses the name Chronics, and is called Silan.
Here's one of his threads

Hi Dan,
..........and I think it could be the same thing, and that's great, thanks for that, and I have seen Silan on before too, so will look out for any other posts. :)
Had a quick look at the thread too, really helpful, and just makes me realise that I need to get myself a bit more up to speed on all these teccy things :D , as long as my pc starts up, and I can log in, that does me....:D. [A case of lazyitus methinks :o ]
And did manage to have a read and reply to Hege's thread on fewer forums though, some interesting ideas on there as well, and how all that may develop.....
Great forum though, and many thanks again...

I was thinking of it as an investment, when snooker starts to really take off in China. Make it a multilingual forum!:p

I would pay $100,000 for it.
Why dont you start your own forum, for a VERY small fraction of that price you could have your own website custom built

I am happy to sell my snooker forum loyalty for $1000 dollars. Hell I'd be willing to start threads and debate with myself for that price.

OK lets straighten up a few things, firstly The Snooker Forum (TSF) is not for sale.
It has also not been purchased by Chronics (Silan) it has been purchased by a company! the reasons should be apparent (Hint - Click on the banner at the top of the front page)
The Team that is running the forum are currently;
Chronics (AKA Silan) - Head honcho :) she is the programming guru of the site and is here to sort out all of our technical problems and to help the site run as smoothly as possible.
Ferret (AKA Kevin) , thats me :) ) - Forum Administrator, I am here to make sure the forum runs as well as possible and to listen to all of your input good and bad. I am the middle man inbetween th eowners and the moderators.
Ranen and Robert602 - Global Moderators, these guys do the most of the hard work around here, they stop the spammers and freaks from getting into the site and stop you lot arguing and causing havock on the site :) What Robert and Ranen say is final.
If anybody does have any problem or would like to make any comment or suggestions please see the Feedback / Suggestions part of the site, if you have somehting a little mor eprivat eto discuss them you can PM either me Ranen or Robert and we will try to help you the best we can.
Just a quick bit of news the new section for the upcoming seasons prediction contest will be inplace soon, so keep your eyes peeled for that one :)
